The Laverstoke and Freefolk Conservation Area which is designated to protect the architectural and historic interest of the area, has been in place since 1990. From time to time it is important to review appraisals of conservation areas and Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council has a duty to do so.
The Borough Council want to hear your views on the draft appraisal and management plan which is to replace the existing appraisal. Please find the full appraisal, map and management plan here as well as a questionnaire for completion.
There will be an online drop-in session to discuss the re-appraisal between 18:00 – 20:00 on Thurs 9th Sept 2021 on zoom. Contact firstname.lastname@example.org for details.
Also the Parish Council is running a drop-in session with hardcopy maps available between 9:30 – 11.30 on Sat 11th Sept 2021 in Lady Rose Hall.
All comments should be received by Weds 13th Oct 2021. After careful consideration of all comments, a recommendation can then be made to finalise and adopt the appraisal as planning guidance.
